Amanda Stimpson

Job Title: 
Management Accountant

Amanda joined Furlong in March 2018 as Management Accountant. She is a qualified chartered accountant with over 15 years of experience across various industries. She has an International Business and German degree from Plymouth University as well as a Diplom Betriebswirtschaft  from the Fachhochschule Dortmund, Germany.

Amy Whetstone

Job Title: 
Support team manager

Amy joined Furlong in August 2017 as a member of the "Away Team". She is a qualified teacher who has previously taught at both school and university level in the UK and in France. As an experienced user of Management Information Systems in school environments, she is very impressed by the ease of use and the comprehensive nature of the products which Furlong offer. She is a Modern Languages graduate from Oxford University and is looking forward to working with schools both in Britain and abroad. 

Angela Prokein

Job Title: 
Customer Support Consultant

In February 2014 Angela joined Furlong as SchoolBase Support Team Member. Prior to joining Furlong she has held many customer as well as supplier facing roles in multinational companies, within the UK and abroad. Over time she has seen the support team grow steadily. Since September 2014.

Catherine Hosen

Job Title: 
Senior Support Consultant

Catherine has been supporting SchoolBase® since December 2007 and during this time, went from being the entire SchoolBase® support team, to managing a support team of 8! Now Catherine spends most of her time delivering training, both running the courses at our head office in Andover and going out to schools to provide training sessions tailored to their needs. Before joining Furlong, Catherine worked in education; most recently teaching A level and BTEC ICT and Computing at the local FE College.

Chris Donlan

Job Title: 
Principal Consultant

Known to many schools as the former MD of ABS, the original authors of FeeMaster; Chris is now embracing an account management role within the Finance division at Furlong. Working mainly from home in West Oxfordshire, enables him to cover the country from a convenient location, providing training and consultancy on Sage 200 and FeeMaster.  He works alongside Katie Saunders on the support desk; David Ryan on development and reports directly to Howard Langley MD.

Colum O'Dowd

Job Title: 
Senior Support Consultant

Colum joined Furlong on the 1st June 2015 having spent the previous 16 years with a Sage business partner in Ireland supporting Sage 200, Sage 50 and for the last 12 years Feemaster 200/ABS Feemaster. He will support all the schools in Ireland that have transferred to Furlong from his base in Dunboyne Co Meath. Colum did his accountancy training with Mobil Oil in London and worked as a Management Accountant for Reliance Security and GBM Ltd before returning to Ireland. He is looking forward to the challenge of growing the number of schools in Ireland using Furlong systems.

Katie Saunders

Job Title: 
Customer Support Consultant

Katie joined Furlong in July 2012 and has immersed herself fully into her role supporting schools on Sage 50, Sage 200 and the accompanying versions of FeeMaster along with Spindle document management software.  She has become the main point of contact for many schools needing help with reports, layouts and more recently with on-site training. She is an accredited member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and is now taking an active interest in SQL scripting. Always on hand to help with her cheerful happy telephone manner. Katie works closely with Chris Donlan and Peter Jennison and is currently mentoring newcomer Sally Christian polish her knowledge on SchoolBase and our finance products.

Louise Sleeman

Job Title: 
Admin Support Consultant

Louise joined Furlong in December 2017 as Admin Support Consultant. Prior to Furlong Louise has worked in various customer focussed roles and Graduated from Plymouth University with a degree in Applied Geology. 

Peter Grant

Job Title: 
Technical Consultant

Peter joined Furlong at the beginning of December 2013. He has previously spent over 3 years working with SchoolBase and FeeMaster as a school IT support technician and Network Manager. 

Phil Matthews

Job Title: 
Techincal Consultant

Phil joined Furlong in February 2014 as part of the SchoolBase Support team as well as supporting the Thailand team. Prior to working at Furlong, Phil worked in a technical support role for a communications company. Phil is passionate about providing excellent customer service and has even won regional and national awards in previous job roles. 

Rhiannon White

Job Title: 
Customer Support Consultant

Rhiannon Joined us in March 2017 after graduating with her Psychology degree. She has experience working in customer service and administration roles, and is eager to begin her learning journey with us so that she can soon provide clients with Furlong’s renowned high quality support.

Richard Millward

Job Title: 
Customer Support Consultant

Richard joined Furlong in March 2018 as part of the Customer Support Team. He has recently returned from a career break using the time to travel across the USA, Australia and Asia. Previously he worked for 10 years in the leisure industry, most recently working as a General Manager for David Lloyd. He is passionate about delivering great customer service and is looking forward to working closely with schools to help with all their needs.

Sally Christian

Job Title: 
Customer Support Consultant

Sally joined the team in July 2016 and will be supporting our SchoolBase and FeeMaster clients. Sally has recently completed her BA degree in Business Studies and has a varied background of work experience. Sally is looking forward to getting to know and helping our clients and expanding her knowledge further. 

Sven Maxfield

Job Title: 
Customer Support Consultant

Sven joined the Customer Support Team in January 2018. He has spent the previous 10 years working in front facing customer service roles in the wine industry, so if you ever need to celebrate after we have solved your issue he will be happy to provide some recommendations! Sven is looking forward to furthering his knowledge with SchoolBase and liaising closely with schools to ensure all their needs are met.

Tom Wozniak

Job Title: 
Technical Consultant

Tom joined Furlong in July 2013 as a member of the technical support team and is working alongside Peter. He has previously worked as a desktop support administrator in a software company and is looking forward to broadening his IT knowledge. 

Wayne Rowell

Job Title: 
Senior Technical Consultant

Wayne joined Furlong in 2015 as a part of the SchoolBase support team.  Wayne brings experience in customer service and in software design and development and also leads the Technical support and Testing teams.

William Keyte

Job Title: 
Senior Support Consultant

Before joining Furlong, William began his career teaching music before moving on to fulfil other educational positions including Head of ICT and more technical roles such as in-house database developer and network administrator in both junior and senior independent schools. Following this, William joined CJM Software as senior developer for seven years before moving onto Furlong to perform various tasks including project management, presentations and working with Catherine in the management of development cycles.
